Ron Randolf

Born in Richmond, Virginia, USA, Ron Randolf started his musical career at the tender age of three in the Northminster Baptist Church with such hits as "Away In   the Manger" and "Jesus Loves Me".  In 1964, the Beatles arrived on the Ed Sullivan Show and nothing has been the same since then. When he was twelve, his parents made the biggest mistake of their lives and bought him a guitar.  That took him down that ramblin' road of countless sock-hops, fiddle-conventions, dirty, smoke-filled dives and the U.S. Army.  Trained in the arts of espionage and celebration, he was sent to West Berlin, Germany to defend freedom's light, and there he soon became one of the "regulars" on the Folk Scene. The Army finally let him go and he joined the "Paradise Island Band" for their final tour. After the band broke up, he teamed up with Hans and Joe to form "Triangel". Various bands followed as well as solo gigs, musicals and lots of studio work. He's worked with all the Hagelberger ladies and gentlemen, as well as Nena, Alex Konti and Julian Dawson

In 1994, he released his first solo CD, A Matter of Time, filled with songs of day-to-day wonder and catastrophe, shining a light on all the passions, loves and fears we all know so well. The CD is available from Newstone Records c/o Rainer Gerlach; Muehlbergweg 12; 36275 Kirchheim-Willingshain; Germany. Fax: Germany-06628-7569.

His latest record was released last year with "Triangel", featuring more of his voice and songs recorded in the studio in front of a live audience. Soon to be out is a new CD with hippie-country music from his alter-ego, the "Hot Nachos". Ron enjoys expensive Thai food, Marvel and DC comics, bizarre cowboy clothes, Beatle anecdotes and raccoons. He would love to meet Neil Young and all the old, lost friends of his former lives.
