| Hans has been a
fixture on the Berlin music scene for well over 20 years. He is a virtuoso contra
bass and Chapman Stick player who plays in a range of styles. His current cd 4 Free Hands showcases Hans' Chapman Stick work. Hans is
also a founding member of the Paradise Island Band and the group Triangel and plays with and
produces numerous other acts, including the New Orleans duo David & Roselyn. Hans has
now established his own record label, Ordnung
and Hartmann Records (OHR), which is the home of many Hagelberger artists.
